Looking on to 2026
Looking on to 2026
If 2025 was about clarity and consolidation, then 2026 is about refinement.
The foundations are in place. The direction feels clear. Now it’s about sharpening skills, deepening relationships, and continuing to build First Touch Marketing in a way that’s sustainable, considered, and genuinely useful to the businesses we work with.
Refinement and Quiet Growth
2026 isn’t about chasing scale for the sake of it. It’s about improving what already works.
That means continuing as a one-person business, being honest about capacity, and focusing on delivering high-quality work rather than doing everything. Quiet growth feels like the right pace — building momentum without unnecessary noise.
Upskilling Comes First
A big focus this year is upskilling. As a solo business, that responsibility sits entirely with me. The better my skills, the better the work for clients.
That learning feeds directly into delivery - stronger strategy, better execution, and more confidence in decision-making. The goal is simple: be better at what I already do, not distracted by what I don’t need to.
The Right Clients, Not Just More Clients
I’m open to working with businesses of all types, but the best fit remains the same: growing businesses that understand marketing takes time and are willing to invest in it properly.
The ideal relationship is one that grows. It might start with a website, a branding project, or a one-off piece of work, and then develop into ongoing marketing support. That progression works best when there’s trust, patience, and a shared understanding of long-term value.
I’m not interested in quick wins or clients looking for instant results without foundations. The focus is on partnerships, not transactions.
Exploring More Website Work
Websites will play a bigger role in 2026. They’re often the best place to start with a business — a central platform that can lead into branding, content, email marketing, and wider design work.
Building a solid website gives businesses something to grow from, rather than trying to patch things together later. It’s an area that naturally supports longer-term relationships and better outcomes.
Content With Purpose
Weekly blogging will continue. Writing consistently has become one of the most valuable habits in the business — not just for visibility, but for clarity of thought.
Social media will be more intentional. Fewer posts, more meaning. Long-form thinking shared in a way that’s actually useful, rather than filling space with generic content. Confidence in voice matters more than volume.
Systems That Support the Work
Notion will continue to sit at the centre of how I work. It’s flexible, clear, and clients genuinely like using it. While every client has their own tools and preferences, having a strong internal system makes adapting to those preferences much easier.
The aim isn’t complexity — it’s clarity.
Growing Together
At its core, First Touch Marketing grows as its clients grow. That’s always been the approach. When businesses invest in their marketing properly and see progress over time, we become part of that journey.
Looking ahead to 2026, that’s what feels most exciting: new relationships, better work, stronger skills, and a business that continues to evolve alongside the people it supports.
