Why Shopify for E-Commerce?

When It Comes to E-Commerce; Shopify Wins

If you’re selling physical or digital products online, Shopify is hard to beat. It’s clean, fast, scalable, and built for selling.

But it’s not always the right fit. If you run a service-based business or personal brand, I’ll usually recommend Squarespace instead.

Still, if sales are your main focus, Shopify probably is too. Here's why.

Built for Selling

Shopify was made for online stores. Product pages, shipping settings, discount codes, checkout. It’s all included, integrated and beginner friendly.

You can sell one product or one thousand; physical, digital, or both. You can sell through your own site, or link to Instagram, Facebook, and Google.

Clean, Customisable Themes

Shopify themes are easy to work with. No design background needed, but it certainly helps if you want it to look that much cleaner. They’re mobile-optimised, quick to customise, and conversion-friendly.

There’s also a huge ecosystem of developers and plug-ins, so if you ever want to take things further, you can.

A Streamlined Checkout

Shopify Payments means you don’t need to mess about with Stripe or PayPal. You get a fast, secure, built-in payment system with fewer fees and less hassle.

Easy to Scale

Shopify works whether you’re doing 10 orders a month or 10,000. You can start small and build.

It also integrates well with email, SEO, and ads; so when you’re ready to grow, you’re not stuck.

Some huge names use Shopify (like Gymshark and SKIMS), and so do our current and clients; Boom Fireworks, Skem Boom Fireworks, Aura, Beverly Silk. Whether you're starting out or levelling up, you're in good company.

Anything Else to Know?

You’ll still pay transaction fees unless you use Shopify’s own checkout; and blogging on the platform is pretty limited.

But if your goal is to sell and sell well; there’s only one choice.
